Community & Sponsorship

During Covid-19 lockdown, our rugby family & community came together & generously fundraised (whilst staying active) for those most deserving, helping SRFC donate €8,000 to 3 local causes: Prosper Fingal, Age Friendly Skerries, & frontline workers fighting the Covid pandemic.

Skerries RFC has long been recognised as one of Ireland’s most respected community-based rugby clubs. Since our inauguration in 1926, thousands of players have progressed up through our mini & youth juvenile grades, and then onto adult rugby; giving them the opportunity to participate in rugby and benefit from team spirit, camaraderie & friendships which last a lifetime.

The Club strives to lead in terms of player welfare, adopting the best practice player safety & welfare.

It has long been a goal of the Club to expand the Social Diversity in our Club, a vital outlet for so many with disabilities in our communities & now needed more than ever.

Prosper Fingal supported our grant application for our newly proposed new All-weather pitch.
